Exam and Certificate

At Phonem Language School, we offer comprehensive language courses and exams that strictly adhere to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The CEFR is an internationally recognized system that classifies language proficiency into different levels, enabling standardized assessment.

Upon successful regular participation in the course and passing the exam, which is conducted according to CEFR standards, participants receive a certificate. This exam consists of a written part (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, language structures, and writing) and an oral part. At least 60% of the points must be achieved in the entire exam. The certificate documents your language skills and serves as valuable proof for many professional and academic purposes.

Important note: It is crucial for participants to ensure that our CEFR certificate is recognized by the institution requiring the course or language proof. Some institutions, particularly in certain countries or industries, may only accept specific certificates such as TELC, Goethe, or ÖSD. These certificates are designed for particular needs and exam requirements and are often requested by universities, employers, or authorities.

Therefore, we highly recommend checking with the relevant institution before the course begins to confirm which language certificates are accepted, ensuring that you obtain the correct certificate. Our team is happy to assist you with this verification and help you choose the appropriate course and certificate.

Our goal is to provide you with the best possible language education and to support you on your path to language success.
